Spa Etiquette

A few rule so everybody can enjoy safely their experience

Maintain hygiene

no spitting or urinating anywhere else than the toilet

Keep away from heat outlets

Steam outlet and wood fire heater can cause severe burn, avoid staying to close from them

Keep the sauna stone dry

Do not pour water, scents, or squeeze sweat onto sauna stones.

Sit in the toilet

Toilet seats are for sitting only; do not stand.

Keep your children under good guard

Children must be supervised by guardians; no shouting or removing ice

Use responsively

Use at your own risk; the venue is not responsible for injuries or burns

Do Not Use If

  • Pregnant, heart disease, or circulatory issues.
  • High/low blood pressure or heat-sensitive conditions.
  • Infectious skin disease, ulcers, or open wounds.
  • Conditions preventing normal sweating.
  • Medication affecting safety (such as anticoagulants, antihistamines, vasoconstrictors, vasodilators, stimulants, hypnotics, anesthetics, or sedatives, etc).
  • Large meal or alcohol within 90 minutes.
  • Uncertain health status.

Potential Risks

  • Overheating or overuse may cause dizziness, nausea, or fainting.
  • Direct contact with heating pipes, sauna stones, or steam may cause burns.
  • Sudden temperature changes (cold showers/pools) may shock the body.
  • Wet floors may cause slipping and injury.

Special Groups

Elderly:

Elderly people’s ability to handle heat decreases with age; use caution.

Pregnant Women

Pregnant women should not use steam rooms or saunas; increased core temperature may harm the fetus.

Children

Children under 8 are prohibited.
Children’s body temperature rises faster; guardians must supervise and control duration.
No shouting or removing ice from ice baths.
